Hey its Makar Sankrant Today.. an auspicious day for.. its the start of a new beginning... :)
And i wanna start it with a bash!!
So my wishlist for the day...
1.a nice tea with newspapaers of the week... i love reading Times of India- Crest Edition n Mint Lounge.. Its my Saturday ritual
2. I wanna take a luxurious bath..
3. Go for a walk on the Marine Drive..
4. Have a Coffee with bakery products at this new place in Colaba called Le Pain Quotidien (read about it in Mint today.. and i am impressed with the review !)
5. Then a walk around the Gate of India...adoring the Taj...
6. Walk the roads of real Mumbai... south Mumbai...listening to my favorite tracks ...!
Well what a day it was... amazing... i love my "ME" time...

The day went by like a checklist :) (i guess the work n managment has taken away a bit of fun frm life... everytime u just start noting point nos 1,2,3...done done...)
Anyways.. i was just suuperb day.. i am writing abu this one day after a fortnight as i earlier coulnd not get time to wrtie ;)
YEs the Crest too cool n Lounge even better... as i said read abu this place Le Pain Quotidien.. diff to spell but a mesmersing place.. before tht... i had a beautiful eve... took the train to church gate all alone.. i had actually decided to be all alone tht day rather...i wld say instead of being with some office guys who pass negative vibes.. its better to be all alone and chillax..
So i got down at churchgate.. with my mp3 on.. listening to my fav tracks.. it was fun.. i was smiling at myself.. doing somthg crazy yet enjoyable..
Then went for a walk to marine drive.. wow it was too coool... it was the day prior to the mumbai marathon.. and Mumbai was all set for the Big Run...! yougsters were jogging along the roads... families were walking and enjoyi the weekend... some tourist taki pics along the Trident... and all and all...
The moment of the day was whn i was standing at the of marine drive...whr the stones start... the breeze over there was so good ... tht i never felt better to be in mumbai! Tht was like THE moment! I have decided to go over there again n again..
Then i took a walk to Colaba... and i was all the time then accompanied by Prajaktta... she was on phone and narrating me the script whc she just wrote... it was so nice to just keep talking and with she on the other end... i just kept on walking for 35min or so.. then i reached whr i had planned...the Bakery place.. the moment i entered it was a diff world.. wooden tables.. the aroma of freshly baked bread.. fresh salads on plates.. the smell of strong coffee.. I was like yes! here i wanted to come for long... (though i just read abu it on tht very day)... it was like comi home... dont knwo why...
The crowd was too sophisticated.. and i was in my casual stuff.. with a who care attitude.. but the service was very good.. i enjoyed the salads... with breads whc i have never tasted before.. forgot wht they call it..and then a nice yummy cup of hot chocolate with belgium sauce or somthg like tht..then a walk towards the Taj and Gate way of India..
I saw mr Khan for the first time in real.. I met Sallu bhai.. he is cute chap.. very down to earth...waving his hand givi smiles.. nice chap.. and then ended my wonderful day with a walk across the Colaba causeway.. peeping into my regular shops for junk jewellery and roadside book shops... got the white tiger... wanna read it soon...
So the Bucklist checked in and out...!
I did somthg New for the First time.. after a Long Time!!
